VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Board of Directors:
Windfall is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our diverse board members bring a wide-spanning range of skills and experiences with them. The Board meets bi-monthly and contains several sub-committees.

Volunteer Drivers:
Some of our agencies find it difficult to spare staff members to come to our warehouse and pick up their donation. If you have a van, some time, and would like to help, give us a call at 416-703-8435.
Volunteer Sewers/Menders:
We are always looking for volunteers who can assist with mending donated clothing that has small tears. If you are interested, please call us.

Clothing Program Volunteers:
These dedicated and knowledgeable people help us to locate and approach new clothing donors in specialized categories such as, winter wear and children's wear.

Warehouse Maintenance:
The warehouse can get dusty and dirty. We need help with cleaning floors, windows, painting, sweeping, etc.

"Volunteer Day at Levi Strauss & Co. has expanded throughout our offices worldwide and provides more than 20,000 volunteer hours in our communities each year. This year is no different, with our Richmond Hill office participating in the annual "Make It Happen" Volunteer Day. Along with a variety of events organized across the GTA. 14 enthusiastic volunteers signed up to "make it happen" at the Windfall warehouse (for the 3rd year in a row)! The energy quotient was high and although Windfall ended with up with painted offices, front doors and the kitchen area; the staff ended up taking away with them (along with the blue paint in their hair and green paint on their jeans) the great feeling of satisfaction in making a difference!"
